I like xv. It has some neat features but it also seems to be more-or-less abandon ware. The author has apparently given it no love or attention since roughly 1999. Other folks, however, have accumulated a substantial number of fixes and enhancements

My "contribution" to xv is an RPM spec file. It has been tested with Fedora Core 6 x86_64 systems.
